For traditional-age high school graduates and transfer students, we offer over 60 programs in business, liberal arts, music, Engineering, sciences, Technology and pre-professional programs through our College of Undergraduate Studies and Postgraduate Studies.
We also offer more than 80 academic program and degree options designed specifically for adult learners through Sapiu Online and our College of Adult and Graduate Studies. Students have several options for accelerated degree completion, including flexible transfer credit policies and opportunities to earn college credit for prior life experiences. Nearly all of our programs for adult students can be completed 100% online.

Finding Your Place at SAPIU
Before you apply, you must determine which college is the right fit for you. Take a close look at the university’s academic programs and determine whether SAPIU offers the opportunities you are looking for. Can you pursue your intellectual passions here as you work toward your ultimate career and life goals? No matter which college you choose, you will be well prepared for the career path you desire.
The college or school you choose will be your academic “home” within the larger university. You’ll take many of your courses in this college. You will get to know faculty and staff members on a first-name basis, and you’ll make new friends among other students in the college.
If you have a strong academic foundation in the liberal arts, you may want to consider applying to the College of Arts and Sciences, but this background will also position you to study in any of SAPIU’s undergraduate colleges or schools. You can study many subjects – such as biology, computer science, design, business, geology, and psychology – in more than one college or school.
For example, if you are interested in English and writing, you may want to consider the communication program in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. An alternative for psychology students is the human development program in the College of Humanities. For students interested in government and public policy, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations may be a good choice. Many students seeking a business-related degree enroll in the School of Hotel Administration. In addition, you can prepare for medical, law, or business school in any of SAPIU’s undergraduate or Graduate colleges or schools.
Whichever you choose, planning is important because each college and school has its own admissions requirements for transfer students.

International Students
At SAPIU, we celebrate the great diversity and globalism of our university, its faculty, and students and we are excited that you are considering SAPIU for your education. We invite you to explore what it is like learning at SAPIU and living on our historic, beautiful campus in lewes, Delaware.
Our applicants are an eclectic group, including international students who have moved among several countries or schools, U.S. citizens who have lived most of their lives abroad, or non-U.S. citizens completing school in the U.S. We read applications based on where you currently attend school, rather than by your citizenship status. Your application will be read with others from the school you attend and those from the same state (U.S.) or country.
Our international students follow the same application process as our first-year applicants or our transfer applicants. SAPIU University admissions decisions for international applicants are need-aware. This means that they will be evaluated for admission with consideration of the ability of students or parents to pay educational costs. International applicants who do not apply for financial aid when they apply for admission (and who are admitted) will not be eligible to apply for financial aid at any time as an undergraduate at SAPIU. Applicants who anticipate the need for financial assistance at any point during their undergraduate course of study at SAPIU must apply for aid when they apply for admission. To apply for the university’s need-based financial aid program, applicants must complete and submit the CSS Profile by the deadline.
Credentialing services or other forms of paid professional assistance:
SAPIU University expects all applicants to complete their application materials without the use of paid agents or credentialing services.
All academic credentials and school materials must be in English and submitted by the school. We will accept English translations done by a teacher or school official. A copy of the original (untranslated) document should accompany the translated version. If you are using an official translation service, all documents must be submitted by mail.
English Language Proficiency (ELP)
All SAPIU students must have a strong command of the English language to be successful in their engagement in their university studies. If English is not your native language or if you have not attended high school in a country where English is an official language for the four years prior to your planned enrollment at SAPIU, you may be asked to submit results from one of the following English language proficiency examinations listed below. We will consider and accept dozens of examinations and other qualifications from around the world in meeting the English Language Proficiency requirement.

• TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test)
• iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency)

• PTE Academic (Pearsons Test of English Academic)
• C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency (Cambridge English: Advanced or Proficiency)
• Initial View (IV) Assessment
• Vericant Assessment
Minimum score requirements for admissions consideration and to be most competitive in our review process:
• 100 and above on the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition
• 5.5 and above on the iTEP
• 120 and above on the Duolingo English Test
• 7.5 and above on the IELTS Academic
• 70 and above on the PTE Academic
• 191 and above on the Cambridge English Scale
Note: Minimum score requirements are listed above for any and all assessments and proxies for which we have designated a minimum qualification. If no minimum score is listed above for a particular English Language Proficiency assessment or proxy, there is no minimum qualification, and assessment and proxy results will be considered during the admissions application review.
